Una obra maestra de .arquitectos que nos acompañó mientras estudiábamos, y crecimos con ella.

En 2024 ganamos la propuesta técnica para rehabilitar y recuperar esta joya de la arquitectura moderna de Alicante, recuperando su espíritu inicial y rehabilitando sus materiales con el máximo respeto hacia el proyecto original, y compatibilizando la propuesta con una nueva iluminación, mobiliario y organización de instalaciones.

No pudimos ganar la licitación final, pero fue un reto bonito y volvimos a aprender de un maestro.

A masterpiece by .arquitectos that accompanied us while we studied, and we grew up with it.

In 2024, we won the technical proposal to rehabilitate and restore this jewel of modern Alicante architecture, recovering its original spirit and refurbishing its materials with the utmost respect for the original project, and combining the proposal with new lighting, furniture, and facility layout.

We were unable to win the final bid, but it was a wonderful challenge, and we could learn again from a master.

En 2024 ganamos la propuesta técnica para rehabilitar y recuperar esta joya de la arquitectura moderna de Alicante, recuperando su espíritu inicial y rehabilitando sus materiales con el máximo respeto hacia el proyecto original, y compatibilizando la propuesta con una nueva iluminación, mobiliario y organización de instalaciones.

Teatre a la Plaça:

El Teatro de Pego se concibe como un espacio multifuncional y abierto a la
comunidad, que revitaliza la conexión con el tejido urbano y se integra en la
dinámica la ciudad. Su diseño busca un equilibrio entre la especificidad de
un teatro y la flexibilidad necesaria para adaptarse a diversos usos culturales
y sociales, ampliando la vida pública de la Plaza del Mercado hacia el interior
del edificio. La combinación de usos, la configuración de la sala principal y
la versatilidad del atrio de acceso permiten una amplia gama de actividades,
desde representaciones teatrales hasta talleres y eventos alternativos.

The Pego Theater is conceived as a multifunctional space open to the community, revitalizing the connection with the urban fabric and integrating it into the dynamics of the city. Its design seeks a balance between the specific nature of a theater and the flexibility necessary to adapt to diverse cultural and social uses, extending the public life of the Market Square into the interior of the building. The combination of uses, the configuration of the main hall, and the versatility of the entrance atrium allow for a wide range of activities, from theatrical performances to workshops and alternative events.
