New project: El Gouna Main Gate

In the desert of El Gouna, a new main gateway emerges not as an object placed on the land, but as a movement arising from it. Conceived as a threshold between infrastructure and vast desert, the project redefines arrival as an experience shaped by sand, light, and time. Building from the place itself, a dune folds to reveal a welcoming oasis.

An image-based research exploring Aseer through a contemporary spatial lens.  Here, topography leads the design—steep slopes, layered terraces, and shifting light shaping form and experience. Materials follow shadow and gradient, translating tradition into a language that looks forward.  Rather than ordering the landscape, the architecture listens to it—allowing terrain, memory, and movement to coexist in quiet dialogue.  In order of appearence: 1. Documents from the “Echoes of the earth” resources. From interventions that echo the contours of the earth to ephemeral gestures shaped by time and weather, land art engages directly with the landscape as both canvas and collaborator. This research explores how site-specific artistic practices reframe our relationship with nature, revealing hidden ecologies, geological narratives, and the poetics of place, and it is part of an ongoing project.

Still under construction, it was recently brought to life by , the pioneering design company and longtime local neighbor, offering a glimpse of the creative exchanges Studio 61 hopes to foster.

Documents from the “At-Turaif District, a UNESCO World Heritage Site” resources. Founded in 1744, At-Turaif is a site that encompasses a fortified city built from mud-brick and stone, showcasing traditional Najdi architecture. Today, it stands as a testament to the country’s deep-rooted history and serves as a prominent historical attraction.

Un Nuevo Paisaje — ARCOmadrid 2025

A night to remember, celebrating culture in the company of great friends and inspiring personalities. The evening’s highlight was a beautiful performance by Maria Arnal (), who curated a special set for the occasion.

Blending multiple artistic disciplines, the event went beyond music, immersing guests in a space where the public and the intimate seamlessly intertwined.

New project: Atelier LC.

Two new volumes transform a family home on the Costa Brava into a secluded creative hub. Designed for artist and designer Lorena Canals, two pavilions introduce new spaces for artistic residencies and guests while exploring an architecture that is both functional and sculptural.
