McSwell bought a property in the historic Castillo part of Chiclana where the Phoenicians came 3,000 years ago 😳. We plan to tear down the ruined house built in 1953, get an archeologist on board to check for prehistoric parts 😬and rebuild with our brand to recreate and share this property with anyone that wants to visit. ♥️

Wooden huts under construction on the windy mountain road to the beautiful forest village of Mae Kampong. Farmers arrived here 200 years ago to grow tea and more recently, coffee. 🫖☕️

Returning to RMIT, after 19 years, where I had studied architecture abroad through the SCI-arc Masters program and having the opportunity to reunite with a lovely friend who was the coordinator for foreign exchange students has been such a profound experience. ❤🇦🇺

McSwell bought a new plot of land for our future live/work project! 🏡✨
After a long search, we fell in love with this quiet street and 788m2 plot that we bought privately from a lovely family that had used the land in the 60’s for a recreational pool. We had to obtain a license to cut down the infected pine trees on the lot 🌳(pine trees are protected in Chiclana) but managed to save the majority of them. We are now busy and excited designing the project.💚

McSwell ha adquirido una nueva parcela para nuestro próximo proyecto de vida/trabajo. 🏡✨
Tras una larga búsqueda, nos acabó conquistando esta parcela de 788m2 que compramos a una encantadora familia, la cual adquirió la parcela en los 60 para hacerse una piscina. Tras comprarla, hemos sacado licencia para cortar los pinos enfermos 🌳(barrenillo). Afortunadamente, casi todos los pinos siguen estando sanos. Ya estamos liados con el diseño. 💚

Stumbled upon the impressive Grand Theatre of Rabat by Zaha Hadid Architects 💚 . Also had the opportunity to meander throughout the Rabat American School, (master plan by Flansburgh Architects) overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and inspired by traditional Moroccan courtyard homes or riads.

Take a look at our renovation bathroom 🚽🛁 project. The client wanted as much storage as possible and no glass in the shower. Solution: built-in wall storage partition with an integrated shower seat. It's always a pleasure working with clients who have good taste and appreciate the small details. 🤗✨

Mountain house a couple hours from Mexico City 🇲🇽 Cold, rainy days followed by fires on the covered patio overlooking this gorgeous valley. We we accompanied on our hikes with Tatu, the guard dog. 🐕
