El motivo Elibelinde es un símbolo tradicional anatolio que representa una figura femenina estilizada con las manos en las anchas caderas. Suele asociarse con la fertilidad, la maternidad y la protección del hogar, y aparece frecuentemente en alfombras y kilims turcos como un emblema de vida y abundancia.

En este kilim de Denizli, de hacia 1960, resalta la fuerza y poder con el que se han representado estos motivos de la Madre Tierra, tanto en la composición como en los tonos usados.

The Elibelinde motif is a traditional Anatolian symbol that represents a stylized female figure with her hands resting on her wide hips. In this Denizli kilim, from the 1960s, the strength and power with which these Mother Earth motifs have been represented stand out, both in the composition and in the chosen color tones.

Esta alforja antigua o Khorjin es un excelente ejemplo de lo mejor de la tribu Qashqai, elaborada con lana de primera calidad, finamente hilada y con todos los tintes son naturales.

🧶 El meticuloso hilado de la lana ha permitido un diseño excepcional, intrincado y detallado. Cada lado de la alforja presenta un prominente emblema Qashqai, hábilmente tejido para ocupar una parte significativa del espacio. Los cuatro tramos de color azul marino están rellenos con motivos secundarios más pequeños, rodeados por una variedad de patrones florales y geométricos dispuestos con una fluidez natural.

❤️ La parte trasera de esta alforja está tejida con un kilim liso, lo que proporciona un sutil contraste con el frente más elaborado y detallado.

Esta pieza se encuentra en perfecto estado de conservación, con todos sus lazos de cierre originales intactos. Representa un ejemplo bien conservado de su tipo, mostrando la artesanía implicada en su creación.

This antique saddlebag, or Khorjin, is an excellent example of the very best of the Qashqai tribe, made from top-quality wool, finely spun, and with all natural dyes.

🧶 The meticulous spinning of the wool has enabled an exceptional, intricate, and detailed design. Each side of the saddlebag features a prominent Qashqai emblem, skillfully woven to occupy a significant portion of the space. The four sections of navy blue are filled with smaller secondary motifs, surrounded by a variety of floral and geometric patterns arranged with a natural flow.

❤️ The back of this saddlebag is woven in a plain kilim, providing a subtle contrast to the more elaborate and detailed front.

This piece is in perfect preservation condition, with all its original fastening loops intact. It represents a well-preserved example of its type, showcasing the craftsmanship involved in its creation.

A perfect piece for collectors.

¡Feliz día de la madre!👩🏻👩🏽

🐪Y para celebrarlo os presento esta magnífica alfombra baluchi de hacia 1960 con una madre camello y su cría.

👌🏼La madre ha sido profusamente decorada con una elaborada silla de montar y sus alfombras. También tiene las tradicionales bandas de camellos baluchis y adornos alrededor del cuello. Su rostro ha sido tejido de una manera muy realista.

👶🏽🐪El bebé está detrás de su madre y tiene un único adorno alrededor del cuello, tal vez una 🔔 .

El borde está decorado con numerosos motivos pequeños, entre los que destaca el boteh (motivo paysley). Esta alfombra está tejida de forma muy fina y con una alta densidad de nudos.

🐪 To celebrate it I show you this superb semi-antique Baluch rug with a Mother camel and her calf.

The mother has been profusely decorated with an elaborate saddle and its rugs. She also has the traditional Baluch camel bands and adorments around the neck. Her face has been woven in a very realistic manner.

👶🏽🐪The baby is behind her mum and it has a single decoration around its neck, perhaps a bell. The border is decorated with plenty of small motifs, to be noted the boteh (paysley motif).

This rug is very finelly woven with a high knot density.

(👇English below👇) Las alfombras diseñada por el escultor vasco y tejidas por Nómada en un taller de Comercio Justo en Nepal se ven así de bien en un piso en San Sebastián. “Lur” cree que la lana hilada 🧵 a mano tibetana del altiplano tibetano es deliciosa al tacto sobre su pelaje.

The rugs designed by the Basque sculptor José Ramón Anda and woven by Nómada in a Fair Trade workshop in Nepal look this good in an apartment in San Sebastián. “Lur” seems to think that the hand-spun Tibetan wool 🧵 from the Tibetan plateau feels delightful against his coat.
