HISTORIAS CONVERGENTES
Podríamos decir que CUAC trata de dar respuestas aparentemente sencillas a problemas muy complejos, como es la común superposición de tiempos históricos en un mismo lugar, que a su vez debe ser transformado por personas de hoy, también con su propia historia. Procuramos ver la arquitectura no como un fin sino como un medio capaz de ayudar a esta convergencia de relatos, sea cual sea su escala, desde una mesa de un restaurante hasta un fragmento de territorio. Detrás de todos estos intentos quizá se esconde un cierto interés por encontrar la permanencia en aquello que parece efímero y la globalidad en lo específico.
We could say that CUAC tries to give apparently simple responses to complex problems, such as the common superposition of historical times in one place, which in turn must be transformed by people of today, also with their own history. We try to see architecture not as an end itself but as a means capable of helping this convergence of stories, whatever their scale, from a restaurant table to a fragment of territory. Behind all these actions we could see a certain interest to find the permanence in what seems to be ephemeral and the global processes in the specific events.
