The newest addition to our ever growing range of tropical hibiscus crosses, a cross between hybrid 029 and the white flowering Hawaiian species Hibiscus waimeae.

An utmost complicated cross. Out of thirty pollination attempts, only one was successful, leading to one capsule with exactly three viable seeds - one package, now available in the shop. If this is gone, then it's definitely gone.

A first time ever cross: our tropical hibiscus hybrid 013 (pod parent) and Hibiscus waimeae (pollen parent), a fragrant white flowering species from Hawaii.
A total of 104 tropical hibiscus flowers had been pollinated with pollen from Hibiscus waimeae, and in the end only 2 capsules formed, containing a couple of viable seeds.
These seeds couldn't be rarer, and only 3 packages are available.
