Restoring a water-damaged spiral staircase.

The wooden treads were carefully prepared, sanded, filled, sanded again and primed to bring them back to a solid base. The staircase was then finished with two coats of oil-based matt paint for a durable, clean finish.

The worst damaged treads were removed and restored off-site before being refitted.

Another staircase brought back to life.

Another ceiling repaired after the torrential rain Spain has been experiencing over the last month and a half.

This ceiling had water damage, so the repair required a full preparation process to restore it properly.

We scraped the ceiling back to a solid base, sanded it down, applied Peel Stop, then two coats of filler. After that the entire ceiling was sanded using a drywall sander, any imperfections were touched up with filler, and finally the ceiling was rolled twice to achieve a smooth, clean finish.

A lot of work, but the result is a ceiling back to perfect condition.

With all the torrential rain and storms we’ve recently had across the Costa del Sol — very unusual for this area — we’ve received lots of calls from clients dealing with unexpected water damage in their homes.

This particular villa suffered significant damage to the entire top floor, affecting three bedrooms, a bathroom, and the hallway.

We’ve just completed the first bedroom, and the transformation already shows how important proper preparation is when repairing water damage.

In this room we:
✔️ Scraped back all loose and damaged paint
✔️ Applied stabiliser to seal the surface
✔️ Used stain blocker to prevent marks bleeding through
✔️ Filled and repaired imperfections
✔️ Finished with a fresh, clean paint finish

A neighbouring builder broke through internal walls, causing serious damage to this home — and then left the property in a very poor condition.

We were called in to "put things right".

Our work included:
