Cuanto menos segamos, más bonito se vuelve el jardín.
En nuestro propio jardín solo cortamos los caminos y las zonas que realmente usamos. El resto lo dejamos crecer libremente.
El resultado son estas islas de hierbas altas moviéndose con el viento, más privacidad, menos mantenimiento y mucha más vida.
La gente gasta una fortuna en gramíneas ornamentales de vivero, pero algunas de nuestras gramíneas autóctonas pueden ser igual de bonitas.
Briza media, Holcus lanatus, Dactylis glomerata, Lolium multiflorum… creciendo aquí de forma natural en Galicia.
A veces hacer menos crea algo mucho más interesante.

The less we mow, the more beautiful the garden becomes.
In our own garden, we only cut the paths and the areas we actually use. The rest we leave wild.
The result is these islands of tall grasses moving in the wind, more privacy, less maintenance, and far more life.
People spend a fortune on ornamental grasses from garden centres, but some of our native grasses can be just as beautiful.
