When designing our new website with , we didn’t want to simply showcase our portfolio, but to make visible how we work and how we think.

Built around three perspectives — Visual, Concept and Technical — it offers different ways of engaging with each project, from a quick glance to a deeper understanding of the ideas, context and decisions behind it.

More than a website, it is a clearer way to navigate OHLAB’s work and way of seeing.

A new identity for an evolving studio.

Over the past months, we have worked closely with — not simply to redesign how OHLAB looks, but to rethink how we present, communicate and position the studio.

As our work continues to grow in depth, scale and ambition, we felt the need for a system — not only visual — that could represent OHLAB with greater clarity and precision.

This identity reflects where we are today and sets the stage for what comes next.

Not a change. A deeper evolution.

Nave 6A, OHLAB’s new studio in Palma, is featured in the latest issue of

Conceived as more than an office, the space brings together work, meetings, material research and cultural exchange under one roof. It reflects an expanded way of practising architecture –one that is collaborative, precise and open to dialogue with design, art and the city.

Now also shared with partners including Nave 6A continues to evolve as a platform for exchange. We are very grateful for this generous 6-page feature, now on newsstands. Special thanks to Pilar Marcos and to Arantza Álvarez for their support and for this thoughtful piece.

Casa Óculo is a house shaped by light, shadow and materiality.

A large horizontal roof extends across the site, while thick lime-rendered walls define a sequence of calm, intimate spaces. Rather than separating architecture from landscape, the project allows the garden to become part of the house, bringing the atmosphere of the surrounding pine-covered hills into everyday life.

At its centre, a solar oculus registers the passing of time, modulating light, heat and shadow throughout the day and across the seasons.

Sneak peek of one of our latest completed residential projects.

Nestled near Palma, in a leafy residential enclave, this home demanded the creation of private and visually shielded spaces. Our solution: a single-level dwelling boasting a sprawling flat roof supported by north-south walls, delineating the home and its core areas.

Crafted from natural materials, the home effortlessly melds into its environment. Opting for lime mortar for the coatings was a deliberate choice, offering both moisture regulation and durability while enriching the sensory experience. Interior carpentry allows for tailored privacy, light, and ventilation, merging spaces. Its adaptability lends versatility, catering to evolving needs and fostering a deep connection with the surroundings.

Throughout the design process, solar studies were conducted to optimize location, orientation, topography, and shadow play. This meticulous approach ensures precise natural lighting and solar efficiency.
