Contemporary comfort with the material authenticity of Mediterranean architecture:
exposed timber beams and the preserved stone wall retain the character of the original structure, while bespoke oak furnishings introduce a refined and understated aesthetic.

The integrated workspace, crafted in natural oak, is conceived as a seamless extension of the room, balancing functionality with carefully considered proportions.
The sculptural wooden desk lamp by Mikko further reinforces the project’s emphasis on craftsmanship and timeless design.

The focal point of the space is the illuminated onyx slab positioned behind the headboard. More than a decorative element, the stone is transformed into an architectural light feature, revealing its natural veining and warm amber tones when backlit.
During the evening, it emits a soft, diffused glow that enriches the atmosphere of the room, creating a sense of intimacy while celebrating the intrinsic beauty of the material.

Through a restrained palette of natural textures, soft textiles, and handcrafted details, the bedroom offers a contemporary interpretation of Mediterranean living, where light, materiality, and comfort are carefully integrated into a cohesive architectural experience.

The bedroom is defined by a restrained material palette and a carefully balanced composition, where natural textures and soft tones create a calm and timeless atmosphere.
The custom-made oak wardrobe integrates seamlessly into the architecture through flush panels and minimal detailing, reinforcing the visual continuity of the space.

The stone flooring, handcrafted with split-edge finishes to replicate the character of traditional aged surfaces, introduces a tactile and authentic material quality.
Its irregular texture contrasts with the precision of the bespoke joinery and the clean white walls, creating a balanced dialogue between rustic heritage and contemporary refinement.

The upholstered headboard extends horizontally across the wall, visually grounding the bed and enhancing the perception of softness within the room.
Suspended bedside lighting, with its essential cylindrical form, contributes to the understated architectural language while providing a warm and intimate atmosphere.

The plan is defined by an articulated geometry that optimises circulation and spatial efficiency within a compact footprint: layout is organised around a central distribution area connecting the washbasins, enclosed cubicles, and service spaces through a clear and functional sequence.

The positioning of the partitions and openings ensures fluid movement while maintaining visual order and privacy.
The washbasin counters are integrated along the perimeter walls to maximise usable central space and reinforce the linear organisation of the plan.

Particular attention was given to proportion, accessibility, and the optimisation of technical clearances, resulting in a balanced relationship between operational functionality and architectural coherence.
The inclusion of a planted element within the central area introduces a softer spatial threshold, mitigating the rigidity of the orthogonal service layout and contributing to the overall environmental quality of the space.

The guest bathroom combines Mediterranean materiality with a restrained contemporary language:
warm oak cabinetry and a sculpted natural stone basin introduce a tactile, earthy quality, while the patterned ceramic tiles inside the shower area create depth and visual rhythm, recalling traditional Mediterranean interiors through a more refined interpretation.

The exposed wooden beam reinforces the architectural character of the space, balancing rustic textures with clean geometries and minimal detailing.

Soft natural tones, brushed metal fittings and filtered light contribute to a calm and intimate atmosphere, where every element is designed to enhance both comfort and material authenticity.

Discreetly integrated into the room, the desk introduces a functional yet visually light study area.
Resting on the surface, the LED 1 table lamp stands out through its sculptural and essential form, a minimal object that adds a contemporary accent while maintaining the room’s restrained and refined language.

Natural light, neutral tones, and the handcrafted flooring with split-edge finishes further define a quiet and relaxing environment, where every element is designed to convey authenticity, comfort, and architectural continuity.

The concealed wardrobe is fully integrated into the wooden wall as a continuous and compact volume, designed to visually disappear within the space.
Flush doors and the absence of superfluous details reinforce the room’s clean composition, preserving a sense of order and minimalism.

Special attention was given to the flooring, handcrafted with split-edge finishes to recreate the appearance of the previous traditional floor.
Its textured and irregular character enhances the authenticity of the space and natural materials.

An outdoor space infused with Mediterranean charm, where nature and architecture blend seamlessly.
A mature tree rises directly from the stone flooring, becoming the true focal point of the scene: its sturdy trunk pierces through an elegant suspended circular table, creating a unique and perfectly integrated design feature.

Surrounding it, a metal pergola supports lush vegetation that filters the sunlight, casting soft, ever-changing shadows.
In the background, a natural stone wall and a solid wooden door evoke a rustic, authentic aesthetic, while the built-in barbecue hints at convivial moments spent outdoors.

The overall composition conveys a refined balance between functionality and beauty, typical of Mediterranean summer homes: a place designed for slow living, immersed in shade, nature, and warm, tactile material

Its presence punctuates the pathway and enhances the use of the space after sunset, maintaining a language consistent with the overall intervention.
