Fernando Menis SLUP, estudio de arquitectura con proyección internacional y ADN canario, busca una figura clave para gestionar su narrativa y sus relaciones externas. No buscamos solo un perfil académico; buscamos a una persona con visión estratégica, gran capacidad de interlocución y sensibilidad artística.

¿A quién buscamos?
Estamos abiertos a diversas formaciones (Derecho, Ciencias Políticas, Arquitectura, Filología, Comunicación), o incluso a perfiles sin titulación específica pero con una trayectoria que demuestre:

◾ Excelencia en la comunicación: Alguien que escriba con impecable corrección y hable con elocuencia, capaz de convencer tanto a un periodista especializado como a un representante institucional.

◾ Políglota: Nivel bilingüe o muy alto de inglés y español. Valoramos muy positivamente el alemán, chino u otros idiomas.

◾ Capacidad de gestión: Agilidad para coordinar campañas, gestionar redes sociales, organizar eventos y atender la relación con clientes nacionales e internacionales.

◾ Interés cultural: Pasión por la arquitectura, el arte y el diseño.

◾ Disponibilidad: Residencia en Tenerife, con disposición para viajar y representar al estudio en el extranjero.

¿Cuál será tu misión?
Serás el nexo entre el estudio y el mundo. Gestionarás la prensa, la imagen de marca en proyectos públicos de gran envergadura y las relaciones con instituciones. Buscamos a alguien con iniciativa, que no espere órdenes, sino que proponga soluciones y detecte oportunidades.

Informamos que el arquitecto Fernando Menis guiará la próxima visita del ciclo "Arquitectura en directo", organizado por el Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Tenerife, La Gomera y El Hierro ( COA Tenerife, La Gomera y El Hierro).

La visita tendrá lugar el 24 de febrero, de 17:00 a 18:30, en la Iglesia del Santísimo Redentor de Las Chumberas (La Laguna).

Fernando Menis recently took part as a jury member and guest keynote speaker at the SHARE Architecture Awards 2025, held at the Zumtobel Light Forum in Dornbirn, Austria.

SHARE is an international festival celebrating excellent architecture across Central and South-Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, bringing together inspiring voices and exemplary practices through talks, dialogue, and awards.

Fernando joined an outstanding international jury chaired by Martha Thorne and Peter Murray, alongside Ana Flor (USA), Habibeh Madjdabadi (Iran), Yevgeniya Pozigun (UK), François Valentiny (Luxembourg), Rainer Schmidt (Germany), and Oskar Norelius (Sweden).

🎓 Virginia Tech visits Fernando Menis’s Works in Tenerife

This week we welcomed a group of architecture students and faculty from Virginia Tech University (USA), led by Prof. Heinrich Schnoedt, Willem Bruijn, Prof. Hilary Bryon, and retired Prof. Mario Cortes.

Their visit included several of our built and in-progress projects across Tenerife: House MM; Viera y Clavijo Cultural Park construction site tour; Magma Art & Congress Centre, in Adeje; the Government of the Canary Islands headquarters; the Holy Redeemer Church of Las Chumberas.

One of the highlights: students participated in a HATCHING workshop led by Fernando Menis on the Viera y Clavijo construction site - an immersive exploration of context, matter and process.

🏆 World Building of the Year — WAF 2025

The Holy Redeemer Church of Las Chumberas (Tenerife), designed by Fernando Menis, has been awarded World Building of the Year at the World Architecture Festival 2025 in Miami — and also received Small Project of the Year and Civic & Community Building of the Year, making it the most celebrated project of the edition.

The WBY’s jury highlighted “the intensity of the architecture and the way light sculpts the quality of the interior spaces,” calling it “an essential contribution to the architectural history of Tenerife.”

This milestone adds to a growing list of international recognitions - including the Frate Sole Prize for Religious Architecture, the Faith & Form Award for Religious Art and Architecture, and its inclusion in the permanent collection of MoMA.

Fernando Menis also took the Festival’s stage to discuss our design philosophy with Nigel Coates, sharing insights into the thinking behind our practice.
