Before and after: a full transformation of an old Thai house into a contemporary family home.
The narrow living room, closed kitchen and bathroom were reimagined as a master suite. The private toilet and shower remain separate, while the double sink and closet now open into the bedroom, giving the space a boutique hotel vibe.
The former bedroom and back balcony became a kids room designed for two single beds, with its own shower and sink. The original front balcony now serves as a guest toilet and a connecting hallway that leads to a new extension.
This extension created a large open space for the living room and kitchen, fully oriented toward the garden and the new pool.
To keep as much of the existing structure as possible, the entire extension was built at a lower level. This allowed the original roof slope to continue naturally over the new construction, saving a significant amount of money while preserving visual harmony.
A complete reinvention of space, comfort, and flow: same house, new life.
