This year we turn TEN

In 2017, Marina and I decided to take the leap: leave London, come back to Spain and start El Departamento. We felt we needed something of our own, a place where we could give free rein to our passion for design, architecture and interiors.

These years have made us better. They have taught us to learn and to evolve, but above all to be happy with what we do.

Conceived as a contemporary reinterpretation of the Mediterranean home, Casa P**a transforms the traditional retail experience into an intimate, domestic journey. Inspired by the vernacular architecture of Valencian farmhouses, the project imagines a timeless inherited house reinterpreted by Lady P**a, where a sequence of interconnected rooms creates a narrative that moves from quiet everyday moments to more theatrical spatial experiences. Rooted in local tradition while expressed through a contemporary lens, the concept celebrates the emotional warmth, authenticity, and sense of place that define Mediterranean living.
