The newest collaboration between and .estudio results in the flagship store in Stockholm, redefining the logic of youth retail in the heart of a city deeply connected to contemporary design.

The project begins with a clear premise: to move away from the conventional open plan model typical of shopping centres, where large, continuous spaces often result in environments without character or atmosphere. In response, the proposal introduces a sequence of “boxes” that structure the journey through the store, linking together to form a spatial narrative. Each box functions as a micro universe, creating pauses, rhythms and shifts in scale that invite a more conscious relationship with the product. The experience becomes more intimate, closer to the domestic realm or even to the exhibition space.

The “box” is understood as a total element. It does not simply delimit space, but becomes a background that envelops the product. This allows the furniture to be reduced to its minimum expression, limited to what is strictly necessary from both an exhibition and structural point of view.

The store is conceived as a continuous scenography that can be experienced in 360 degrees. Backs, junctions and construction systems are left visible, transforming technical logic into architectural language.

In line with this constructive sincerity, the ceilings remain open, exposing the installations. Rather than concealing them, the project shifts attention to the lighting plane, which becomes the defining element of the ceiling. Light gives each box its own atmosphere, adding depth, tension and drama to the spatial experience.

For our latest collaboration with in Stockholm, we explored the idea of endless encapsulation: structures containing structures, objects supporting objects, identities living inside other identities.

A raw DIY language of stacked timber elements becomes the architectural backbone of the project — imperfect, tactile, almost temporary. In contrast, soft pastel pink tiles introduce a glossy and artificial layer, somewhere between domestic intimacy and digital unreality.

The result exists in tension: handcrafted yet synthetic, unfinished yet precise, playful yet controlled.
An environment where material repetition becomes atmosphere, and where retail turns into spatial composition.
