French Elegance: A Landscape Design Proposal for the Ambassador's Residences at the French Embassy

Project Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Project Description: The objective of the project was to change the perception of the French embassy's residence to a more approachable, enjoyable and sociable place for the public. The ambassador's vision was to transition the space from "The Residence of the Ambassador" to "The Residence of France". Therefore, the landscape design aimed to create various functional areas and programs that would provide a friendly and inviting atmosphere. The proposed developments included a French garden, which would serve as a versatile outdoor space, an outdoor restaurant, a barbeque area, pathways lined with trees, and several types of gardens such as rock, flower and herb gardens. 🇫🇷🌿🏡🌼🌷🌺🏡🌿🇫🇷

Plot Area: 557 square meters
Built-up Area: 441 square meters
Description: Each unit in the apartment is a 3 bedroom apartment with a master bedroom that includes its own master bathroom and dressing room, as well as 2 children's bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Additionally, there is a spacious living and dining room, a kitchen, a maid's room with its own toilet, a laundry room, and balconies to enjoy the outdoors. Ample parking space is also provided.
