Aanaa Dawwee Haraawaatti hawaasa gandoota lamaaf Hanga uwwisa bishaanii dhibbeentaa 50 kennuu kan danda’u pirojektiin bishaanii duraan hojjetame Ture. Haa ta’u malee, qaala’iinsa boba’aa fi Humni Bishaanichaa Generator qofaan Bishaan Oomishuun, Raabsuuf Yaaluu irraa kan ka’e bishaan hanga barbaadamu oomishuun hawaasaaf raabsuun rakkisaa ta’ee ture.
Rakkoo kana furuuf Bulchiinsi Aanaa Dawwee Haraawaa baajata UNDP irraa deeggarsa argateen hojii fooyya’insaa jalqabeera. Haaluma kanaan transformer sadii (3) fi meeshaaleen sarara elektirikii diriirsuuf oolan waliigala isaanii qarshii miliyoona 15 olitti tilmaamaman ramadamuun hojii isaanii yeroo ammaa eegalameera.

A water supply project capable of providing at least 50% water coverage to residents of two kebeles in Dawwee Harawaa District was constructed previously. However, due to the sharp increase in fuel costs and other operational challenges, the scheme was unable to produce and distribute sufficient water to meet the growing demand of the community.
To address this challenge, the Dawwee Harawaa District Administration has initiated an improvement and expansion project with financial support obtained through UNDP funding. As part of this effort, three transformers and the necessary electrical line extension materials, with a total cost exceeding ETB 15 million, have been allocated and the implementation work has already commenced.
Upon completion, the project is expected to significantly increase water production capacity, improve the reliability of water supply services, reduce water shortages, and enhance access to safe and adequate water for the communities served by the scheme.
