ONE Architects is formed from the alignment of three successful studios AW2 Architects, B&M Architects and Konkret.

We are a multidisciplinary house of architects focused on creating sustainable architecture and urban landscaped for people to use and enjoy. We bring together different skills, experiences and ideas to create high-quality architecture and urban environments that meet the challenges of people today and of future generation. The new Ahvenisto Hospital in Hämeenlinna is opening in stages and will be fully operational by the end of March.

Designed with a strong focus on human‑centred care the entire hospital environment supports patient recovery and staff wellbeing. Natural light, a clear spatial hierarchy as well calming materials have guided the architectural approach from the very beginning.

The project was realized as an alliance with , and , together with the integrated architectural consortium including ONE Architects, Harris-Kjisik Architects and Sweco Architects. Thank you to all alliance partners for the meaningful collaboration!

The partial master plan for wind and solar power in Suurikangas, Luumäki, was approved by the Luumäki municipal council on 16 February 2026.

The plan has been prepared in accordance with Section 77 a of the Land Use Act, allowing building permits for wind turbines to be granted directly on the basis of the plan. The plan enables the construction of up to 14 wind turbines and an 82‑hectare solar power production area. We acted as the consultant responsible for drafting the plan, and WSP Finland Oy served as the EIA consultant. The project developer is Myrsky Energia Oy.

The Ambra terrace housing project in Jätkäsaari is featured in the latest issue of ARK magazine (1/2026).

The publication highlights the project’s approach to integrating a stepped residential building into the urban context, as well as its solutions for articulating public space, private outdoor areas, and the building’s façade.

Building the future of railway stations!

Pohjois-Haaga, Kannelmäki, and Malminkartano train stations, originally built in the 1970s, will undergo comprehensive renewal in summer 2026. The renewal aims to improve functionality, safety, accessibility, and overall comfort for the long term.

We are proud to be involved as architectural designers for Kannelmäki station. It’s exciting to contribute to the development of the city and public transport together with the client and other experts!

ONE Architects is part of the design team for the new Solo Sokos Hotel in Vänmanninsaari, Oulu, with construction set to begin in autumn 2026.

The 20-story hotel will feature approximately 246 rooms, a restaurant, conference and event facilities, a spa area, and a Skybar with panoramic views. The development will significantly strengthen Oulu’s tourism and service offerings.

The design emphasizes architectural expression, functionality, and integration with the urban environment. The project team includes JK Architects for architectural design and Rune & Berg Design for interior design.

As Oy Espoon Kokinniityn Helmi I has been nominated for the 2025 Hurraa! Award.

The Hurraa! Award, granted by the Espoo Environment and Building Committee and Building Supervision, recognizes exceptionally successful and high-quality projects in the built environment.

Helmi is part of a four-building block and features 88 rental apartments with compact, functional layouts, bright interiors, and efficient technical solutions. The façades feature warm-toned brick, and the block includes a green courtyard with play and leisure areas.

Heka Vuosaarentie 3 Enters Construction Phase!

We are excited to announce that the Heka Vuosaarentie 3 residential block is moving forward into the construction stage after an extensive design process.
Located near Vuosaari metro station, the development will consist of two residential buildings with a gross floor area of approximately 12,000 sqm, providing 182 apartments. Of these, 20 apartments are designated as a housing group for individuals with disabilities, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.

The architectural concept is defined by a distinctive curved brick facade along Vuosaarentie, creating a strong and recognizable identity for the block. At the building ends, pronounced balcony motifs will frame the view axes, while the street-level facades feature warm, yellow-toned brick surfaces complemented by glass elements, seamlessly integrating the block into the surrounding urban fabric.

We look forward to seeing this significant project contribute to Vuosaari’s urban landscape with a high-quality and sustainable residential environment.
