On 19 January 2026, representatives of the City of Kajaani and the local fire department visited the Gamified Cohousing Kajaani property by appointment. The visit was conducted on site, guided by our team, and allowed for detailed face-to-face discussion about the building, its current condition, and the proposed path forward.

The atmosphere was calm, professional, and constructive. Further meetings were agreed in order to align existing conditions with updated plans before formal digital submissions, a reminder that with existing buildings, understanding must precede paperwork.

In an age increasingly mediated by platforms, processes, and abstractions, it was quietly reaffirming to be reminded that some decisions still benefit from being made in person, together, in the building itself.

This allows us to take part in EU-level public consultations, engage more directly with European institutions, and ensure that our voice, on behalf of communities building a more inclusive, sustainable future, is part of the conversation
