Gate-in-waiting after repair and repaint was duly hung yesterday. Near Bergerac. Super, Spring sunshine. Two other gates , previously fabricated and painted, were also put in place yesterday.

3 gates, painted and drying in the sun, waiting to be installed at a client’s place near Bergerac, next week. The first few photos are of the existing gate that we repaired - some of the ‘spear’ tops were missing - and the others are of the two gates made to match. Forged ‘spear’ ends and pivot bottom hinge.

In a glorious spot, high above Cahors, this gate was installed in fabulous, February sunshine. Designed as a lockable security gate so that the patio doors can be left open safely in summer. The cat is already using her own personal entrance! Clients are delighted.

A gate in waiting in the workshop. Forged ‘spear’ tops and complete with cat flap-sized space at the bottom, as requested by the client. To be painted and then fitted to the sloping-roofed entrance to a conservatory.
