🏡 The wait is finally over! SWIPE RIGHT ➡️

After 3 weeks of hard work, we’ve finished laying the floor in our 200-year-old French farmhouse kitchen using reclaimed tomette tiles we rescued from upstairs. 🇫🇷✨

We absolutely love the result and think reusing the original tiles was worth every minute. Now we can finally move on to electrics, lighting and bringing the kitchen to life!

Every reclaimed tile is a different size, making this kitchen floor one of the slowest and most challenging projects we’ve tackled so far.

It’s a bit surreal seeing this come together 🤍

This was just an idea 3–4 years ago… something we saved, planned and hoped would work in this space.
And now it’s actually here.

The tommettes, the soft off-white lime plaster, the repointed stone… it’s exactly how we imagined it.

Still more to do, but finally seeing the vision come to life is a pretty special feeling.

And a big thank you to Nathan for mucking in and bringing it all together 🙌
