We are just starting to dig up new trees for delivery this winter. These are 1-year Michelin cider trees on the vigorous Bittenfelder rootstock, which can be trained on to produce 'standard' cider trees. These are 1-year Myrobalan rootstocks gowing in the nursery. Thanks to the wet spring weather they are over 3m tall. They will be used for grafting 'standard' plum trees - this vigorous rootstock allows the mature plum tree to reach about 6m, with a 1.75m clear stem.
