Old and tired garden room glass structure in need of major refurbishment, broken panes of glass replaced, roof glass in four sections removed, modified and two new perspex panels fitted, rotten wood dug out, replaced, filled, repaired and all painted ... looking much better, another job off the list

Another full day of pool opening, pool cover cleaning, pool cleaning, chemical checking, grass cutting, filter backwashing, poolcop rotating face greasing, pompe a chaleur testing, wisteria cutting, bush trimming, weeding and property checking, then disposing of all cuttings at dechetterie ... and now relax

Dining room floor to be cleaned, sanded and varnished two coats, needed to be done in sections due to sideboard, table, dressers already being in room and full of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc.

Bathroom and shower room existing floor tiles to be removed, floors sanded, repaired and then varnished, new bath panels to be fitted, plinths for toilets and pedestals to make and fit, plastic skirting to fit in both rooms.

When you have not been to a customers for a while and they ask if you can tidy things up, well the pool is a work in progress and is now chlor choc'd so fingers crossed for improvement next week, the grass and weeds were also a shock but looks much better now, easy work in 33 degrees.

Winter cover removed from neighbours pool tonight, water looking good after the winter and now 28 degrees. Old summer pool cover removed from roller, new cover installed on roller and then on pool.

Customer bathroom and shower room floor sanding today, just about ready for varnishing ... and at the same time a bit of pool cleaning and chemical balancing.

First opening this year of customer pool, little bit of detritus but water looking good. All that pre winter preparation worth the time and effort. New pump for Polaris robot installed today, pipework modified to suit, electrically connected. Pool heater reconnected after the winter. All working as they should be.

Bit of customer roof work yesterday, trying to locate source of a leak into the property. Two areas of roof tiles around leak all lifted, checked, cleaned and tiles relayed, a significant amount of moss and growth removed, replacing cracked under tiles and badly damaged capping tiles. All looking much better, as now clean and clear will allow rain water to run down the channels, hoping that this has solved the water ingress.
