Stadiums are usually convex urban objects that atract from a distance then deflect as you approach them. With our laureate project for the FC NANTES stadium we reversed that formal phenomenon by creating a continuous concave surface that welcomes visitors in a series of public plazas.

Léo joined our team in 2018 and has been crucial to the studio’s dynamic. As a project leader, he has been working our most recent project in France, UP garden. Léo was invested in this project since the beginning of the competition and is now closely following its construction in Genevillier.

VICHY TENNIS CLUB-
The project is composed of three volumes set back from the banks, with the intention of minimizing its footprint on the landscape. First, the rehabilitated existing tennis hall. It receives a new envelope, while preserving the existing structure. Then, at the site’s entrance, we designed a new large sports hall which brings together tennis and padel courts. Finally, the heart of the site host the club house. It evokes a kiosk in a park by its architecture of stilts, its central position and its relationship to the site. On the North side, its terrace extends into a grandstand on the central court and offers a view of the interior of the new hall, as well as on the whole site, with the Allier and its banks as a backdrop.
