Dionaea muscipula ‘Quasimodo’ (Venus flytrap, carnivorous plant, bred by Green Jaws) from difloraplant
Dionaea Muscipula “Quasimodo” is a real showstopper, drawing attention with its utterly unique look. It gets its name from Victor Hugo’s famous character, Quasimodo, from “The Hunchback of Notre-Dame.” This cultivar is characterized by bulging, irregular traps that are twisted, asymmetrical, and pointed, with margins that don’t close perfectly. Their color ranges from bright green to a deep, striking purple-red on the inside. Adding to its distinct appearance, the teeth are short, irregular, and point every which way.
