A great afternoon last week at the MUSEUM OF TORONTO with curator CoRRiNNe Chong, PhD Corrinne Chong, getting a behind-the-scenes look at the new exhibition.

There are so many unexpected Toronto stories packed into this show—from CN Tower uniforms and Honest Ed’s signs to brothels and raccoons. There are also adorable doll clothes on exhibit representing the Baby Derby - a Textile Museum artifact I had the chance to help work with during my internship, now on loan and on display in the exhibition.

Getting the inside scoop on how exhibitions come together and problem solving for the best visitor experience is always exciting for me. Thanks, Corrinne for such an interesting tour!

This week, I graduated with Honours from Centennial College’s post-graduate Museum & Cultural Management program and was incredibly honoured to receive the Ontario Museum Association Award of Excellence for Museum and Heritage Practice.
I’m also grateful to have recently completed my internship at the Textile Museum of Canada, where I had the opportunity to learn from and work alongside some amazing professionals.
Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way! I’m excited for what’s next and for the opportunity to continue learning, growing, and contributing to really meaningful work 🏰 🖼️ 💡👩‍🎓 professional
