Some projects bring different chapters of your life into one place. This is one of mine.

Dubai taught me architecture.
The Grand Egyptian Museum took me closer to culture and visitor experience.
Working with UNESCO and Google Arts & Culture widened that conversation.
And studying heritage at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne made me look differently at the places we have stopped noticing.

Somewhere along that journey came Salvago Cotton Gin.

An overlooked piece of Egypt’s industrial heritage that became a very personal exploration of how architecture can give an existing place another life… without erasing the life it already had.

So seeing Salvago, designed through Studio KAD, shortlisted for Best Sustainable / Regenerative Design Concept at the Commercial Interior Design Awards 2026: MENA means rather more to me than another shortlist.

Perhaps the buildings we overlook are sometimes the ones with the most interesting futures.

A destination isn’t designed around landmarks.
It’s designed around relationships.
People rarely remember the route between museums.
They remember how a place made them feel.
That’s where destination design begins. I don’t think the future belongs to the cities with the tallest skylines.
I think it belongs to the cities with the clearest identity.
Buildings can attract attention.
Meaning is what makes people stay.
That’s becoming far more interesting to me than architecture alone.

People sometimes ask me where I find the energy to begin again.

The truth is…

I don’t think I’ve mastered resilience.

I simply never fell out of love with architecture.

Every drawing still feels like a beginning.

Every staircase still makes me curious.

Every construction site still feels full of possibility.

Maybe that’s why starting over never feels like starting from zero.

It feels like returning to something that has always felt like home.

Not everything needs to be visible to be real.

Between travel, exams, and long days of research, something quietly aligned.

I ranked FIRST in my class this semester.

What matters more to me is what this phase is shaping.
After years of working on future-facing projects across Dubai and London, I’m now adding another layer… understanding how culture, memory, and heritage operate not just as history, but as systems that create real value for places.

Still on my own path.
Still choosing depth over noise.

The Grand Egyptian Museum is now operating at full scale.
The visitor experience is no longer a proposal… it is lived, tested, and validated daily.

I was entrusted with designing the spatial and narrative experience model that integrates archaeology, movement, pause, and revenue logic within a PPP structure.

When cultural destinations are structured correctly, they become sustainable cultural infrastructure.
