Located at the end of rue de Seine, close to the river and next to a shady public garden, Charles Zana’s studio is a serene, open-minded environment for architects and clients, dedicated to service – a word rarely associated with architecture. But everyone who enters this small courtyard on the Left Bank is drawn into an environment whose key values are culture and quality. And when they allow Charles Zana to entice them into his creative universe a beautiful story can begin. Fifteen architects, interior architects and designers work with Charles Zana on projects ranging from private houses and apartments to company head offices, shops and renovations. The team is tightly knit by its communal culture of quality and work methods enabling it to take a project from inception to completion with great fluidity. The luminous, colourful open-plan workspace, full of artworks and design objects, welcomes the visitor. Clients can sit at the long table, taking part in their project and almost becoming a member of the team when crucial decisions are taken.
