How to design the right restaurant for the best sandwich in the world? First, one should try the sandwich. And we did. The first bite felt like an explosion of flavour and crunchiness. Therefore, the crunchiness had to be the starting point. Like we felt when we first bit the sandwich, our design breaks the space into two clearly identifiable halves... before & after, brand & product, yin and yang sort of thing. On one side, the design marks the entrance and the front of the house with simple geometry, minimalistic detailing whilst, at the opposite end, the kitchen and bar, are celebrated by an explosion of flaming pink alabaster stone (sustainably reproduced with high performance laminates).
