Society should not be like this.

Although I am retired, and funnily enough it was my wife who said post it. We stayed in what for us was a "posh" hotel. All looked fantastic on arrival. Then you start noticing things that aren't to my liking, and could easily be avoided.
The tiling in the bedroom... Although tiled well lots of niggly disappointing things. No 1 my pet hate, a row of tiny bits of tiles at the top. This could be avoided by not cutting as much off the bottom row.

If, like me, you are OCD, this will hurt your eyes. The extractor isn't in line with the hob, and the hob isn't in line with the oven. The hob wasn't even parallel to the front or back of the worktop, about 35mm out. It was also so far out from the oven that it imposed on the cupboard to the left of the oven, leaving so much of a gap between the two cupboards.
