Finally managed to get back into the workshop and complete some projects. Placemats with matching coasters. Hopefully the start of more projects to come.

Finished an order for some close friends. A serving board with a matching set of 6 coasters. Made with reclaimed old pine wood with a deep blue resin. The colour was a match for their kitchen cubdoard doors so helpfully I got it right 🤞.
I will be making a start on building the new workshop soon so the other projects will be taking a back seat for know. I will post pictures of the workshop build as I go along.

Out of their molds and ready for the next stage. One serving board and matching coasters and the lighter blue is a new design for a serving board. This will be revealed throughout as don't want to spoil the surprise! As mentioned before, these pine boards where reclaimed from an old Malthouse in Cardiff. It was built in 1887 and is a grade II listed building that I have had the pleasure of working from for my 9 to 5 for many years. The boards are not quite that old but I bet they have a fair story and history to tell. I love re using old wood and find it makes for a more interesting make. Hope these turn out as nice as I hope.

Well its been a while since I posted anything. Let's just say this year has been a busy one away from the workshop. It might not look like much but I can't wait to get back in here and create some new designs and products. Got some commissions to produce over the coming weeks so watch this space.

New coasters having a nice mineral bath! First use of the new resin from I must say it's a fab product. Took a while to get use to the new curing time but very pleased with the outcome. Will definitely be using this resin again. The wood is elm from a pallet I managed to save a while ago.

Two new pens to add to the stock. The first one is with blue epoxy resin and driftwood with a spalted beech base. The second is green epoxy resin with drift wood and a apple wood base. I must say it's the first time I have used apple wood to turn and its superb. Will be making some full pens out of the apple wood soon. All pens are available to buy. DM me if interested.

This has been an ongoing project for a while now. Started this months ago, then it got shelved for a while. Finally got round to completing the clock. The elm was salvaged from a pallet I found in work, always nice to recycle wood where possible. Think I'll keep this one for myself.

Had the pleasure of making this custom order of coasters for a client. Three colours of resin blended over 6 coasters. The wood is reclaimed pine from an old Malthouse situated in Cardiff. Love the way the colour blended together on these.

HAPPY FRIDAY and bank holiday weekend. Not sure what we'll do yet this weekend, we were hoping for a quick trip to the van. What about you any fun plans?

I got very excited yesterday as i've had a few Etsy orders this week and I now have 39 sales. So pleased I did a little happy dance.

The Mustard and Grey wristlets are proving popular. £6.25 each including P+P.
