Can anyone recommend a waste removal company to take away old bathroom suites/tiles etc.
Must be a registered company and supply a collection note so I know it won’t be fly tipped.
May be repeat work too. Currently have 3 jobs lined up that need waste removal.
If they can quote via photos that would be handy also.

This was my latest boiler swap. The customer opted for a new Baxi 800 to replace the old inefficient combi. The pipework was a mess so couldn’t help but tidy it up a bit (although I was told it’s likely to be covered up anyhow 🤣).
The system was flushed and new filter was fitted.
An additional radiator was fitted whilst the system was drained.

😍 The latest shower room is complete! 😍
White sparkle effect pvc panels brighten up the room massively. New shower, shower tray, cubicle, toilet and basin give the space a fresh clean finish. Customer supplied the lit mirrored cabinet and electric towel rail but I couldn’t resist mounting them. Very pleased with the end result and as always, a very satisfied customer.

A new boiler fitted a few weeks ago.
Another Worcester with a 12yr guarantee.

Customer had been having issues with pressure loss on his old combi. After narrowing it down to the main heat exchanger being faulty, the cost of repair was uneconomical. The new boiler means 12 yrs of worry free service from a well known, highly rated boiler manufacturer.

This was probably the tightest shower room I had ever worked on… the existing shower was dated and the customer wanted it “freshened up” for their tenants.

The quadrant shaped cubicle was required to ensure access to the window. All walls were boarded with the grey marble effect shower panels (which are proving very popular at the moment). The shower was replaced along with the new base, new cubicle, new toilet and the existing radiator was replaced for a small towel radiator.

The finish was great and customer was over the moon. The flooring is all that’s left to do along with a fresh coat of paint on the ceiling.

It’s been a busy few weeks, and this was the latest job.

The customers shower needed replacing due to a damaged hinge on the door. They opted for a full new cubicle and new grey marble effect shower panels. The plasterboard was in a bad state behind so that was removed, and replaced.
The stone base was supported with 3x2 and 3/4” ply so it was solid with no chance of movement.

The old basin was tiny and not not well suited to their needs so I managed to source a new basin without the need to replace the whole vanity unit. A new tap and clicker waste was installed to finish it off.

The existing boiler was old and inefficient and poorly located in the kitchen with the flue not meeting current regulations. This was relocated and replaced with a new boiler. The Worcester 8000 comes with 12yrs guarantee so they know the boiler won’t cost them anything for a long time yet (other than the annual service of course).

While the system was drained, the customers also fancied 2 new radiators.

All of this carried out while they were on holiday for a week. I think you’ll agree that the outcome is 😍

Customer wanted a new Baxi boiler to replace her existing Baxi. She had years of reliability and wanted to continue with a 10yr warranty on the new boiler.
A new Baxi 830 combi 2 was installed and the pipework tidied up as much as possible with the addition of a system filter to protect the new installation. A new Honeywell T3R was fitted in line with current energy efficiency regs.

Another boiler replacement with a long guarantee (10yr).
Customer was slightly concerned about the new kitchen installation but surfaces were protected and customers property was treated with utmost respect (AS ALWAYS).

So far this week I have been busy with another shower ‘refresh’. The existing shower was leaking through to the kitchen below. On inspection, the tiles had blown and the water was running behind the tiles.

So I disconnected the shower, removed the old tiles and damaged plasterboard, altered the studwork and renewed the plasterboard. I then built a base and installed a new low profile shower tray, panelled the area and fitted a new thermostatic shower and pivot door.

All waste to be removed in the morning and customer over the moon to have they’re shower operational again (once the silicone dries 😉)

On to the next one tomorrow… new boiler installation (back boiler conversion).
