A house renovation we took on in Cults that's still on going. Started off by ripping out the kitchen, bathroom and all the walls. We remodeled the upstairs lay out with the bathroom moving to the next room to where it was. Creating a jack and Jill walk in wardrobe. We removed the load bearing wall that divided the kitchen from the living room to make it open planed where we worked to a building warrant. As the project unfolded it the decision was made to have a full rewire and full re plumb done. The external walls were all insulated and reseeted to help with keeping the heat in. The Bathroom had a bulk head built and a built in shelf area next to the walk in shower. All the floors were plyed to accommodate the new lvt floor which was to go down in 2nd phase which I will post after this ! New window in the kitchen to allow the new kitchen layout to work and also the same in the nursery which was the old bathroom. We supplied and fitted the 2 steal beams which is in place to make the house open planned. Moved the door to the stair for the master bedroom then blocked up old door. The ceilings had artex which was tested for asbestos which all but 2 rooms were negative so we oversheeted the ones we could do and plastered the ones which was positive.
Fair to say this was a big job to take on but one that was enjoyable and was challenging. Good effort from all the boys IPE Electrical Services McKay Plumbing & Heating
