2016 ➡️ 2026

Ten years ago I decorated this living room with a green feature wall and neutral tones.

This week I was back to transform the very same room again.

Styles change. Trends come and go. But quality workmanship stands the test of time.

A decade later, it’s now dressed in navy blue, with new furniture and accessories arriving next week to complete the look.

Not many decorators get to revisit their own work 10 years later. It’s a privilege I’m proud of.

Customer wasn’t keen on the style of the door and was ready to rip everything out…

came out to price it up, but fair play to him—he said straight there was nothing wrong with the windows and replacing them would be money wasted.

Instead, he pointed them our way to get everything sprayed 👌

Same frames, completely different look… and a fraction of the cost of new.

This is exactly why working with the right trades matters 🤝

If your windows or doors are looking tired, don’t assume they need replaced—most of the time they just need the right prep and a proper spray finish.

New layout… without replacing everything 👌

The homeowners had already changed the layout and installed new PVC doors — the original plan was to replace the rest to match.

Instead… we sprayed it 🔥

Now everything ties in seamlessly:
✔️ New doors blended with existing frames
✔️ Full colour change to modern anthracite
✔️ No need for full replacement

Same structure. One clean, uniform finish.

This is where spraying really comes into its own — making old and new work together like it was all installed at the same time.

We’ve been doing this a long time… one of the originals in Aberdeen for PVC spraying 😉

Out-of-hours transformation for this tanning salon ✨

Cracks repaired, poor plaster sorted, and a full refresh carried out — all completed outside business hours to keep things running smoothly for the client.

Bathroom refresh completed ✔️

This bathroom had no natural ventilation, only an extractor fan, so moisture and mould had previously been an issue.

We carried out a full mould treatment, stripped the existing wallcovering, repaired and patched the walls after electrical works, then installed a luxury vinyl wallcovering for a durable finish.

The ceiling was finished in Caparol Amphibolin, giving a tough, moisture-resistant coating ideal for bathrooms where condensation can be a problem.

A great example of preparation and the right products making all the difference to the final finish.
