Tired of cracks and questionable finish in your period property.

Plastering with fiberglass reinforces plaster, preventing cracks and strengthening walls/ceilings by distributing stress. It is applied by bedding it into a first coat of plaster.
Recommended for old, cracked, or high-movement areas.

But from my experience this method doesn't only stop cracks but provides unmatched top tier smooth finish compared to traditional plaster.

Full restoration of this original door. I love it when the customer wants nothing less than the best 🔥.

Want to know how to achieve this kind of finish ?
1- Remove all of the ironmongery
2-strip all of the paint
3- Power sand using several grit of sandpaper
4-Adhesion primer followed by a full skim coat and caulk ( remember it's crucial there's no micro gaps or places where water can get in )
5- Sand again😅 undercoat.
6- Gentle sand , remove dust and debris.
7- 1 coat of topcoat
8- depending on the colour you might need to coat again or 2 more times 🫠.
9- once fully dry you can now refit all of the ironmongery.
10- think you're done now? Not today buddy
