Our samples have to live somewhere… here’s where they end up! When you run a rug company your own home becomes a total mish-mash of samples, prototypes and ones that never really made the cut but you can’t throw away. It’s a revolving door of colours that don’t really match 😂😂

When we were thinking about designing a new large natural jute rug we knew it needed to have a little extra something about it. Ideas can come from literally anywhere, but this time it was a fabric sample.

We spent ages getting the spacing right and playing around with different thicknesses of weave and texture. But in the end, the tightest, finest weave gave it the feel we were after.

Not all natural jute rugs are made the same!
