From a lampshade to a couple of cushions — one beautiful print can transform and uplift an entire room. This luxurious velvet dragonfly fabric is beautiful to work with, and has become a favourite with customers 💚

🔨 I recently up-cycled a Queen Anne footstool in this fabric, which is available in the shop at 20 Eastgate, Aberystwyth 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
(UK Postage available) although I’m very tempted to keep it!

🇺🇸 Did you know there is a place called Cardiff-By-The-Sea in California?

In 1910, developer J. Frank Cullen began creating a new seaside community on the coastline in California. His wife was from Wales and persuaded him to name it after her hometown Cardiff 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and so Cardiff-By-The-Sea was born! 🌊☀️

These two shades I finished this week will be on their way from Wales to Cardiff-By-The-Sea on Monday 🇺🇸 ✈️ Thank you Alison 🙏

❤️ I love working with this colourful Kaffe Fassett fabric which always makes me smile 😊 This lampshade in a 40cm oval shape is leaving for its new home in Aberystwyth today 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 It also now comes in a different colourway, perfect for (dare I say the ‘A’ word…) autumn 🍂!!

I’ve also been experimenting with this tall conical shape which gives elegance to those areas with limited space, ideal for nooks or bedside tables. Can be made in any of my fabrics (or yours) 🦚

🌼🌺 I finished these two bold and bright lampshades in the shop today. They’ll be off to their new home in Australia on Monday 🇦🇺 🦘🐨 ✈️ Thank you to my lovely friend Melissa Smith 🙏 I hope you love them! 🥰

🌎 I send my lampshades worldwide, with all VAT, customs duties and tariffs taken care of by me, so there are no unexpected charges or surprises when your lampshade arrives at your door 💣💰
