Our construction team have been busy installing a 20ft x 30ft polytunnel for Green Light Trust, carefully building a durable and productive growing environment. From the framework to the finishing touches, every step is completed with precision and expertise.

June is a fantastic time to make the most of your polytunnel 🌱☀️

This month is peak growing season in the polytunnel, with an abundance of crops ready to harvest. Aside from a few peas, broad beans, and occasional plants saved for seed, the overwintering crops are gone, making way for the eagerly awaited summer harvests that begin in June.

With longer days and warmer temperatures, your plants can really thrive under protection. A polytunnel helps you extend the growing season, giving you stronger seedlings, healthier crops, and earlier harvests — all while shielding your plants from unpredictable weather.

From tomatoes and cucumbers to salads, herbs, and tender flowers, everything really starts to take off inside your tunnel this month. Just remember to keep good airflow, water regularly, and enjoy the fast growth and abundant harvests June brings.

We’ve had busy week this week behind the scenes 🚛💨 6 wagon loads, 93 tonnes of steel — all delivered right on time as we head into the busy season. It’s a huge volume of material, and seeing it roll in is a great reminder of the scale we’re working at as demand continues to ramp up.

Planning and timing are everything at this stage of the year, with the busy months fast approaching, having this steel means we’re fully prepared and ready to keep things moving at pace. This stock will allow us to continue manufacturing and delivering your polytunnels without interruption, keeping lead times tight and projects running smoothly. Whether you’re expanding, replacing, or starting fresh, we’re geared up to meet the demand.
