A little bathroom ceiling we came back to plaster on one of jobs 👌

We had already boarded out the walls ready for tiling, but it was a last-minute decision to freshen up the ceiling as well, as the existing one wasn’t in the best condition. Definitely the right choice in the end, giving the whole bathroom a much cleaner and more finished look.

The only video we managed to capture from this project 👌

A full refresh throughout on this one, starting with overboarding all the ceilings due to the existing Artex and the risk of distemper causing issues later down the line. Once boarded, everything was fully skimmed for a fresh modern finish.

We also patched in new socket positions throughout the property and carried out a full reskim in both the kitchen and lounge area after parts had been ripped out, leaving us working over a mix of different backgrounds along with damaged plaster where old tiles had been removed. Plenty of prep work went into getting everything back to a solid standard.

A lovely change requested by the customer was opening up the kitchen and lounge area by removing the existing frame and plastering it all back in cleanly for a much neater, more open-plan feel throughout the home.

A lot of work went into this one, but the end result was well worth it. Another happy customer 👍

This one completed over the summer for was definitely a warm one ☀️

A bit of problem solving needed on this job, as the area had already been boarded before the windows were fitted. To get everything sitting right and achieve clean, sharp reveals, we used beads and packed them out to get the profiles spot on around each window.

Sometimes it’s the extra prep and attention to detail that makes all the difference to the finished result. Really pleased with how this one turned out 👌

Garage conversion coming together nicely for 👌

Dab one wall and around the door & skim finish, plus we’ve skimmed the other side to keep some handy storage space. Old pink ceiling had been up a year which needed priming. Ceiling’s been opened up to allow for a full golf simulator setup ⛳️ — making the most of that 2.7m height and then some 😛all in 2 days👌🏻

Lovely bedroom to kick off the Easter holiday week for a returning customer 👌 Always a pleasure working here.

We’re nearly at the point where every bedroom in the house has been completed now—which says it all really. They’re already talking about the next project… possibly a new bathroom or even a garage conversion 👀

This room was cleared as much as possible before starting. Previously had old wallpaper, coving, and a poor finish throughout. Now all surfaces have been properly prepped and brought back to a clean, smooth standard, left fresh and ready for painting.

Another one ticked off 💪

Another great project completed over at 👌 Always a pleasure working here—top people and a smooth job from start to finish.

This one included a full bathroom transformation, bringing everything up to a clean, modern finish, along with the porch area fully thermal boarded to improve insulation and overall efficiency. Attention to detail as always, making sure every surface is prepped and finished to the highest standard.

Really happy with how this one turned out—on to the next! 💪

Not every job goes to plan — it’s how you handle it that counts 💪

This ceiling had previously been covered with paper and polystyrene tiles. Once they were removed, the customer was hoping for a smooth plaster finish… but underneath was plasterboard that needed some proper prep.

We got straight to work within the week of being contacted:
✔️ Re-secured the boards
✔️ Prepped the existing surface
✔️ Taped all joints
✔️ Kept everything spotless throughout

During the skim, we noticed areas where the old paper had separated, so we cut those out and filled them once set to make sure the finish was spot on.

Problem solved, job done right 👌

Another one from the archives 👷‍♂️

A bedroom and bathroom we completed over in Sutton Coldfield, helping out a fellow plasterer get his project that step closer to the finish line 👊

Plenty of angles to deal with int he bathroom and a lovely square bedroom, but all came together nicely. Made even better by a lovely summer’s day—perfect for a couple of quick mixes and an easy clean up ☀️👌

It’s been a while since I’ve posted—sometimes life just gets in the way 👷‍♂️

Here’s a bathroom transformation completed last year over in Leamington 🛁✨

The walls needed a bit of bonding work to get everything nice and straight, followed by a full reskim to create a smooth, clean finish—perfectly prepped and ready for the final bathroom install.

Quality prep makes all the difference, and this one came out spot on 👌

Return visit for Cookhill Constructionto prep this utility area — a bit of floating and dabbing to get the angles right and then matching the reveals and one the reveals to run neatly into the stud wall. We also blended the entrance from the kitchen for a smooth, crisp finish. Nothing better than working with a well-organised builder 👌
