Current Progress at Heath House

Heath House is really beginning to take shape, with the ground floor ICF structure and blockwork walls now in place.

It’s exciting to see the project progressing from concept to reality, with the scale and form of the home becoming increasingly apparent on site.

Heath House – External Visual

As work at Heath House continues to progress rapidly on site, we’re excited to share a visualisation of how the completed project will look.

A key feature of the design is the accessible kitchen, which opens directly onto the rear garden patio, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living spaces. The kitchen has been carefully designed to enable our client to use appliances independently, with flexibility built in to accommodate their evolving needs and requirements over time.

We’re looking forward to bringing this vision to life.

We’re delighted to share that Ridgeview has now gone out to tender, and we’re looking forward to breaking ground and starting work on site in the near future.

This video showcases the existing site, where the current building will be carefully renovated and complemented by a new barn-style extension. Designed to sit sympathetically within its farm setting, the extension will provide a fully accessible home tailored to meet our clients’ needs, both now and into the future.

We can’t wait to see this exciting project come to life and will be sharing further updates as it progresses.

It was a great evening of networking, entertainment, and pizza making, all while supporting the fundraising efforts of the Frenkel Topping Charitable Foundation.

Heath House – A Part I & Part II Architectural Assistant Experience on Site

Here’s a look at Ed and Beatrice’s experience on site at Heath House, where they had the opportunity to get hands-on with the construction process and see the project progress first hand.

Heath House is a particularly exciting project, not only because it is being designed as an accessible lifetime home with a range of unique and innovative features, but also because of its construction methods.

The project is being built using ICF (Insulated Concrete Formwork), an innovative system made up of lightweight hollow polystyrene blocks that fit together almost like LEGO. Once concrete is poured into the blocks, the structure becomes load-bearing, highly airtight, and delivers excellent sustainability and energy performance.

As Heath House continues to progress on site, we’ll be sharing every step of the journey.
