A lovely little oaky nook in a room for my latest customer who works for . I love that she will be having her work zooms in this space. The wallpaper is ‘oak tree’ by galleries and was a joy to hang.

Scroll for bonus tortoise! Sometimes a job feels really special. I really enjoyed this one restoring the character to this 1930s study. Using the feature colour, green smoke by Farrow and Ball, on the cabinet and shelving as well as the fireplace and feature wall, created a cozy nook of that half of the room. And made the fireplace the true feature. Carpet will be going down soon and I can’t wait to see the finished run! Grace the tortoise was the icing on the cake. I absolutely fell in love with her. She often popped in to see how things were going on and sometimes she let me touch her head!

Pink can be a tricky colour, but here is a really lovely one Masquerade mid by Little Greene, with pointing by farrow and ball on the woodwork. No shame about mixing palletes for the right result!

Bathrooms are a good space to get creative and have fun with bold colour! And why not colour the ceiling too? This one is in ‘green verditer’ eggshell by little greene. Woodwork is in ‘pointing’ by Farrow and Ball.

(Eggshell finish is a good tip for bathrooms, as it won’t go streaky in moist conditions.)
