Two messages for our followers who may be passengers of SWR.

1. Check the train time table this week because it may change due to the very hot weather

2. ANY spare water you have, please put into the planters! We shall be trying to keep up with watering .

🇬🇧Rushmoor Borough Council Aldershot Garrison 🇬🇧

Join us as we hold a short flag raising ceremony at Princes Gardens in Aldershot on Monday 22 June, to mark the start of Armed Forces Week and the countdown to the Armed Forces Day National Event.

Everyone is welcome to attend, please gather in Princes Gardens from 9.15am.

If you are unable to attend, you will be able to see the ceremony on Facebook live.

The Armed Forces Day flag will also be flown at the council offices in Farnborough.

One set of chives has an invasion of black aphids? We're hoping the ladybirds have a feast! If you wish to cut any chives for your salads, please choose an 'un-flied' plant!
The self seeded thistle is doing well, waiting for its flower.
And we do have poppies at the station, but not the seeds we sowed...yet.

The Basingstoke Canal is a very short walk from Ash Vale Station. Teeming with wildlife and makes for a lovely walk. Walk in either direction along the canal path and find places to stop for a drink and nibbles! Vale Cafe, the Swan pub, Canal Cafe, Frimley Lodge Cafe.
