Just pruned my Almond ‘Ingrid’ headed for the sky. Have tried to leave most of the fruit for my students but all stone fruits should be pruned by the end of Summer. These include peaches, plums, cherries and of course almonds. I think we have a total of 4 nuts this year 😜

The Garden Army team visited Hereford just before lockdown to create a wildflower meadow on a bank. Here are some more photos and a testimonial. So pleased!

‘Cathie and her team undertook two projects at our home in the last year and we are absolutely delighted with the results of their hard work. At the planning visit, Cathie listened carefully to our requirements and then made a variety of suggestions for our patio and for the very steep, w**d filled, bank behind our house. As non-gardeners it was great for us to draw on a variety of design ideas and Cathie’s vast plant knowledge.
The work was planned meticulously and undertaken professionally by Cathie and her team members. They worked hard in ‘mixed weather’ and both projects were completed on time. Our land has been transformed from some lawn, w**ds and paving stones into a patio and garden where we like to sit out and enjoy the plants, bees and butterflies. I’ve said it before, but thanks again Cathie.
