Fresh Plaster to Finished Kitchen ✔️

This kitchen was newly plastered and ready for its first coat.

Mist coat applied properly.
Fully cured.
Finished clean and crisp throughout.

If you’ve just had plastering done and want it painted the right way, drop me a message.

Another hallway brought back to life 🎨

Fresh walls, sharp lines… and a custom Van Gogh inspired mural to finish it properly.

I love jobs like this. Standard refresh on paper, but adding something unique that makes the space stand out. That’s what makes decorating more than just paint on walls.

One year self-employed and still pushing to level up every job.

If you’re in the West and want something done properly, you know where I am.

Another full decorating job, start to finish.

Filmed the whole process so you can see what actually goes into the work — the prep, the problem areas, and the final result.

No shortcuts, just getting it done properly.

I’ve just uploaded a new YouTube video from a recent decorating job.

This one was a long hallway that needed a lot of prep. I show the full process from start to finish, from getting everything ready through to the finished result. I’ve also included a breakdown of the time, materials and costs behind the job.

Really happy with how this one turned out for two great customers in Old Bonhill. I lined the job before Christmas, then last week I returned to complete the final decoration and the transformation speaks for itself.

I’ve been filming the full process too, so I’ll have a YouTube video coming in the next few days once it’s all edited.

I’ve just uploaded my first YouTube video, something I’ve wanted to do for a while.

It documents a full decorating job from start to finish and shows the side of the work people don’t usually see, the prep, the time involved, the costs, and what’s actually left at the end. Decorating is more than just putting paint on walls and I wanted to show the reality of it.

This channel is something I’m building alongside the business to document where I’m at right now and where I’m trying to take things in the future.

You can watch the video here:

One year ago today I took a leap and started my own painting business.

What a year it’s been. A proper whirlwind of early mornings, long days, learning curves, problem-solving on the fly, and more brushes washed than I care to count. There were moments of doubt, moments of pride, and plenty of times I had to stop and think, I can’t believe this is actually working.

Along the way, I’ve also been lucky enough to have experiences I probably wouldn’t have had if I hadn’t taken the risk. Working in different homes, meeting so many different people, taking on jobs that pushed me out of my comfort zone, and seeing the direct results of my own hard work has been massively rewarding. Every job has added something to the journey, whether it was a lesson learned, a new skill picked up, or simply a moment to step back and appreciate how far things have come in just a year.

I’m incredibly grateful to every single client who trusted me in my first year. From small jobs to big transformations, every booking, recommendation, and kind word has helped keep me busy and moving forward. It genuinely means a lot to know people were happy enough with my work to invite me back or pass my name on.

Running your own business isn’t easy, but this year has taught me so much, not just about the trade, but about patience, consistency, and backing yourself when things feel uncertain.

Here’s hoping this new year brings more great clients, more opportunities, and even more experiences to look back on with pride. Thanks to everyone who’s been part of the journey so far. Onwards and upwards.

This project was a little different from my usual work. My best mate’s mum had started a hallway refresh but wasn’t able to complete it, so I stepped in to finish the job.

What a transformation — moving away from the grey and giving the space a fresh new look. The chosen colours were sage green and brilliant white, creating a clean and modern finish.

If you or anyone you know is looking for reliable, high-quality work, I am now taking bookings for mid-January. 👍🏻
Feel free to get in touch to discuss your project or secure a slot.

This was a job I had from old bonhill for a great client! The job will be a 2 parter as she wanted me to line the walls and return after the new year to decorate. Getting the lining paper on has made all the difference already. I’m looking forward to getting the full job finished 🍀

Haven’t posted in a while because I’ve been super busy. Had a backlog of work from getting sick so I’ve been trying to work through everything and catch back up! This was a great wee job for the Scottish Jewish Archive Centre in Glasgow. Getting rid of the brown really brightened the place up!
