Are you're in the Alford area over the weekend? If so, why not pop into TR Home and Garden? There’s a lovely variety of handmade goods from talented local sellers, vintage furniture, garden plants and of course, a cosy dog friendly café to enjoy.

I popped in today and restocked my collection of items! I’ve added some brand new peg bags and notebooks – perfect gifts for Mother’s Day!

I’ve also been to the dentist and the hairdressers!!

I’ve been busy making your lovely orders, but behind the scenes, I’ve also been redesigning my new branded stationery!

I’ve redesigned my thank you cards, packaging stickers, and a few other little details to match my fresh new look.

Here’s a little peek at the designs. After getting a few quotes, I decided to print my own to keep costs down! I also printed stickers to use on the back of my old supply of thank you cards, which I cut down to make little business cards. I had quite a lot left over, so didn’t want to waste them.

I’m getting there with my rebranding to do list!! I’ll be working on the website next I think.

Introducing the new logo for Belle & Josie!

I’m so excited to introduce my brand new logo! As my business evolves, I wanted a fresh, modern look that truly reflects what Belle & Josie is all about - beautifully crafted homewares and gifts in stunning fabrics.

A huge thank you to my daughter’s talented friend Sophie, who is studying graphic design at uni, for helping bring my vision to life! I wanted something that captures the sewing and handmade nature of my products while staying simple, stylish, and memorable. Her illustration of the cotton reel with the flowers is just so beautiful and I love the way that she incorporated the thread into the words. There are a few different versions of it too for different uses.

I can’t wait to continue this journey with you under this new brand identity! It’s going to take a while to update everything, but I’m getting there. I'll be updating facebook with the logo and will be working on updating the Etsy shop next as well as designing and ordering some new stationery.

Thank you for all your lovely comments on yesterday’s post. I was worried that as I haven’t posted for such a long time it might not reach many people, but I’m very pleased it did. So, here is a bit more news!

Say Hello to Belle and Josie!

My business is changing direction slightly and I’m going to focus on creating beautiful handmade fabric homewares and gifts for you to enjoy. Belle & Josie feels like the perfect new name for my business. Home and family are at the heart of everything I create, so what better way to capture that than with the names of my two lovely daughters, Annabelle and Josephine? This is a very old photo – they don’t look like this any more, they are 21 and 18 now!!

I've requested to change my Facebook name today – I hope that you will continue to follow me - lots more changes coming soon to keep everything on brand -new logo, new Etsy shop name, new stationery and new website coming soon ....

I’ve been a very, very quiet on here lately – actually can see that I haven’t posted for over two years! Not sure if anyone will see this – so if you do, please like it or say hello in the comments!

Life’s been very busy! It’s been a time of big changes for us – we’ve moved house (not too far – we are still in Aberdeenshire), my husband switched jobs, and I’ve been taking time to reflect on the future direction of my business.

After a lot of thought and reflection, I’ve decided to take my business in a slightly new direction! After many years creating beautiful curtains and blinds as well as running my Etsy shop, I’m now planning to focus on Etsy and my range of fabric homewares and gifts. I really enjoy sewing these smaller pieces and making items which bring a special touch to your home.

I’ll continue running my Etsy store, but I’ll also be creating my own website and will be exploring new ways to share my creations with you.

I’m so excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to bring you more unique, handcrafted pieces! I’ll be adding new products and new fabrics to the shop, so there should be something for everyone!
