We are a small home based business providing made to measure soft furnishings. We provide a personal service to our customers - from providing a free advice and measuring service, to ultimately assisting our customers in meeting their needs within a given budget. All our soft furnishings are hand crafted with exceptional attention to detail. Everything is made with a mix of machine and hand stitch

ing as appropriate. The service we provide you simply cannot get from large retailers. The fabric options open to our customers are endless. We are happy to assist in the purchasing of fabric whatever your budget. The bulk of the cost of curtains is in the fabric - and on a tight budget shopping around is the only way to make things more affordable. We also have access to trade accounts with suppliers and are happy to open new ones when required.

Its a lovely sunny day in Alford☀️Hope it lasts for the weekend 🤞
This was a glow up job for someone local who had moved house. The original pelmet and curtains were black and a bit much. We first re-used some made to measure curtains by lengthening them. Then we made a new pelmet to match in linara cramberry. If you have a project like this you're needing help with, please just get in touch.

I've been a bit slack at posting recently...sorry. Mainly because of the dark miserable weather we have had since the start of the year. I recently installed these pencil pleat cream curtains on a cameron fuller track. The fabric was a lovely PT one I had used previously. It was a nice cotton linen mix. I made this pair, along with a much smaller pair.

A bit of everything this week. Quite a few jobs on the go after a slow start to the year. It's always the same - all or nothing 😂. Grateful to be busy in difficult times for many.

Wishing all my lovely customers a Happy Christmas. Thanks for all your orders this year. Here's some photos from my recent trip to NYC. I just wanted to end the year doing something nice after all the loss I have faced recently. If this year has taught me anything it's that you need to live your best life while you can. I'll be back in my workroom on the 5th. Merry Christmas everyone! Catherine x

Busy week here. Lots going on work wise. Next weekend I hope to pause to move into my lovely new garden cabin. Lots more space and I'll have everything in one place. Only I would move workroom in November 😂🤦‍♀️
I've lots of new books to share after a couple of rep visits recently. This lovely stripe I have decided to make blinds in for my cabin windows ( whenever that might be).
Some blinds I made recently. I'm also currently working through 3 pairs of curtains to go with these.

Some new fabrics have arrived. It's been a weird week as I have been poorly. Just a cold, but quite a bad one. Message me if you are looking to have some soft furnishings made. I am starting to see enquiries coming through with the change in seasons.

Door curtain, 6 large romans and a footstool re-covered. All delivered today. The curtain still needs a tieback. Swipe to see one of the kitchen blinds. The conservatory ones are still to be fitted.
