Hello and a Happy and Healthy 2026 to everyone. Our ability to respond to breakdowns, boiler and heat pump issues will be defined by, firstly road conditions, and secondly by weather conditions. Our vehicles are appropriately equipped for winter conditions however our engineers will not be put at risk due to dangerous road / driving conditions. If we are inundated with calls we will unfortunately have to prioritise requests, and our regular customers, and vulnerable people, will be dealt with first. Please note our engineers are working outside of business hours - they work long hard hours in difficult conditions and know that is "their job" . . . however they have limits also . . . . If you have a boiler or heating problem please call me and I will do the best that I can to ensure you have heating and hot water. Bear with us we are "service driven" and will do what we can! Hello customers, we may personally not have felt it but March was a relatively wet and cold month, and April has not improved much overall. It's that time of year when buildings are demanding a lot of heat and therefore fuel usage is high. Since Thursday we have had 6 customers, run out of heating oil and we feel it's worth you checking your tank contents. If you have any doubts about the accuracy of your tank gauge then I recommend using a long (clean) stick and dipping your tank. Also please remember that the top of the outlet pipe is approximately 75mm and, if the oil level drops below that, air will be drawn down the line and the burner will fail!! We are always here to assist, should you run out of oil, however I hope this helps you avoid the inconvenience of that ! Photo of George . . . just because 🤷‍♂️

Hello All.
We have been using Fluidics nozzles successfully, with no failures, for over three years until:
October 2022 when we had about 5-6 of 0.65/60 and 0.75/60 and 0.75/80 fail immediately upon start up after fitting. Quick change of nozzle and everything OK.
February 2023 we have had 4-5 nozzles fail over a period of 1-6 weeks. Engineers commented that they felt that an unusual amount of air adjustment was required after the fitting of those same nozzles

Are we alone or has anyone else experienced a high number of failures like this? Feedback appreciated

I (genuinely) love these jobs. Great start to the week. A Rayburn conversion that, apart from no Fire Valve, just required a deep scrape except its steel tank was . . . . see the photo!! 👎👎
Since install the boiler has always been serviced by local OFTEC registered company. 😂🤣😀 burner O-Ring brittle and rather than replaced burner stuck in with sillly-c@ sealant. 11 year old hoses running from De-Aerator into boiler case - the white flexible hoses had me confused for a while 🤔🤔. The tank for the boiler missing its valve handle and the assembly was siezed. The back of the nozzle evidence that a new filter (complete assembly) is required. Sight tube and breather letting in water, 25mm water in tank, no firevalve . . . Guess how much crud was in the combustion chamber and on the baffles ?? 😱😱. (answers on a postcard!)
FGA yielded 11.56% CO2, CO 2 PPM. Sweet!🎉👍
