We’ve just launched our newest ToughSystem 2.0 compatible insert at Alba Printlabs, engineered specifically for the DeWalt DCW600 18V Router. We wanted to build something that maximises every single inch of space, nesting everything you need into one highly efficient layout.

How I engineered the inserts:

Been working on something behind the scenes at Alba PrintLabs to sort out messy DeWalt boxes.

We’ve started designing custom, drop-in inserts for the DeWalt ToughSystem 2.0 half-width organisers (DWST83392).

First one off the line is for the DeWalt DCS355 18V Oscillating Multi-tool.

To get it right, we 3D scanned the actual tool and the tub so the fit is dead on, no rattling around in transit. We also engineered a hidden slot for an AirTag or GPS tracker, so you'll always know where it is.

We are printing every insert in solid PETG, meaning they won’t melt in a baking hot van over summer or shatter if they take a knock on site.

You can grab them in Black, Yellow, or Red.

We are in the process of completing the final designs for the compact combi drill and impact driver twin packs.
