📸 A lovely return Customer in Allington, Maidstone 📍 wanted us to work our magic on some large movement cracks along their ceiling line.

✅ So we retacked ceiling boards to joist around the edges of the room to prevent further movement.
✅ Channelled out old cracks and applied scrim tape
✅ Bedded in render mesh with bonding plaster to strengthen corners
✅ Skimmed ceiling and walls down to picture rail to tie it all together.

👷🏽Will be revamping throughout but first had to address the flacky paint on the ceiling, a good lick of Zinsser 'Peel Stop' and a couple of coats of the brown stuff and were good to go 👌🏽😎

📸 Large cracks? Significant blown plaster? could be a sign of masonry movement, this project in East Malling had the above in abundance! 🧱
💪🏼 We hacked off all the damaged plaster, applied hellical bars to strengthen the masonry and then reinstated new boards/plaster and skimmed to finish. 👌🏽
