This is for everyone who’s ever asked how much one of our little 9cm.herbs will grow, or how quickly, those questions that are difficult to respond to because of the many variables…
Well a customer sent me this photo of her African Blue Basil purchases - the one in the 9cm pot at the front was the one she bought in Alton on Saturday, the one behind in the blue pot was the one she bought from me at the previous market,a month earlier!
Potted up and well cared for, it’s absolutely beautiful, a great size and will flower and be covered with bees until some point in October - all varieties grow differently but this was so lovely to see 💜

We had two fantastic local markets in Alton and Guildford today, in beautiful sunshine, with so many herbs heading off to their new pots and gardens - including this selection in a gorgeous basket!

And just like that another week was over and another fourteen trolleys of herbs are packed, looking fabulous and heading off to retail events.
Find me in Alton tomorrow for the Farmers’ Market whilst Sam will be in Guildford High St for the Summer Festival market with
Around 300 trays, 5000+ little herb plants, all looking for new homes and gardens 🪴

Our ‘top field’ is looking great at the minute, full of wild flowers swishing in the wind. Just beyond the nursery site, it has a public footpath that leads us on lovely walks in both directions
