This week I took delivery of five new planters for Altrincham town centre for my client, Altrincham BID.

The planters themselves are from Amberol and are clad using their new Planter Enhancement range. They have integral water reservoirs which reduces watering and evaporation as water is delivered to the roots via a capillary system. Clever, huh!

These are the type of planters that Altrincham In Bloom are fundraising for so they can replace the decaying wooden planters. The compost and most of the plants were sourced from our local supplier, Chris Walker Plants in Timperley. A few were also bought from Altrincham In Bloom.

This morning we launched our Hanging Basket Scheme for businesses in Hale. We will be placing a bulk order for self-watering baskets with Amberol in due course and planting them up ready for hanging in late May to early June.
