We’re delighted to share approval for this exceptional new family home in Alderley Edge, replacing a tired and outdated 1930s property on a generous sloping site overlooking the village.

Our wonderful clients, with whom we’ve had the pleasure of working for over two decades, purchased the plot with a vision to either transform the existing house or create an entirely new home for their family. Following detailed analysis and careful consideration, the decision was made to design a replacement dwelling that truly maximises the site’s potential.

Working closely with the family through an iterative design process, we successfully secured planning approval for a stunning new home extending to approximately 9,000 sq.ft. of living space.

Designed to respond sensitively to its surroundings, the house takes full advantage of the site’s natural topography and elevated views, reinterpreting the traditional Cheshire manor house in a contemporary way. The result is a modern, elegant and highly personal home designed for family life for years to come.

We have successfully secured planning approval for this 6,000 sq. ft refurbishment and extension scheme in Southport.

Located within a conservation area, the project required a sensitive and considered approach to ensure the proposed works respect and respond to the original building fabric, as well as the wider architectural context.

We are now looking forward to progressing to Stage 4 and developing the construction drawings.
